In your role, you are playing a key strategic role in creating, maintaining, and ensuring the quality of the data used across our organization. The position will report to Head of Data and Analytics Strategy & Solutions and is located in Ahlstrom headquarters in Helsinki, Finland.We can offer you

Your main responsibilities

Monitor and analyze the trends and patterns in the data to identify any changes or issues that need to be addressed.
Responsible for improving and maintaining the business value of data.
Data administration, data cleansing and other data services
Create and implement data models and structures that can organize and store the data in a logical and efficient way.
Develop and apply data mining and analytics techniques to extract insights and value from the data.
Ensure the data quality and accuracy based on data quality requirements by performing regular audits, validations, and corrections.
Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards that define the data creation, update, and usage rules and roles.
Provide training and support to the data users and stakeholders on the data management best practices and tools.
Support Data Managers in defining measurable business rules and harmonizing the data quality.
Ensure data assets are kept up-to-date and that data is correct as well as processes exists for data cleansing and updating.

To be successful in this role, you should have

At least 3 years of professional experience working with data, developing, and maintaining master data.
In depth understanding of Master Data Management and Governance
Expertise in Master Data Quality Management
Conceptual Knowledge on basic master data domains/objects (e.g. customer, supplier, product). Preferably for multiple of these
At least some experience with master data maintenance work / processes
Proactive and communicative mindset
Minimum good command of English, other working level language skills are asset.

An added bonus is if you have

Business acumen preferably in manufacturing industry
Working experience with at least one ERP solution and related master data (SAP, IFS, JDE etc.)
Experience with SAP ECC / S/4HANA master data objects and their related content, preferably in multiple domains.
Experience with master data management workflow tools (e.g. SAP MDG, other)
Experience of working in multi-cultural company
