Apply now to become a vital member of our Orica Finland team!About the roleOrica Finland is seeking a diligent and experienced Site Supervisor Underground to join our team in Kemi. In this role, you will oversee on-site Orica teams, plant operations, and ancillary equipment, ensuring compliance with service level agreements, corporate standards, and regulatory requirements.The role includes general blasting responsibility where you will oversee and manage the blasting work on site.Key Responsibilities

Supervise the implementation of Orica SHES requirements, CHECKPOINT, and Quality programs.
Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly downstream manufacturing production plans are met to deliver quality products in line with standard operational procedures.
Lead downstream production activities on-site and maintain overall accountability for facility operations.
Approve drilling and blasting plans, control blasting operations, manage changes, and provide briefings during blasting activities.

Qualifications

2- 5 years experiences of mining industry
Hold a minimum Shotfirer-level Finnish shotfirer license as per legislation
Structured, solution-focused and result-oriented
Good documentation and communication skills in Finnish and English
Technical degree (BSc) from university/college is meritorious
