The succesful candidate will be responsible for leading and implementing the strategic planning in the company and for ensuring that adequate provision of planning support is provided across all projects, and to the management team. This is a new project to Exyte and is located approx. 90 mins outside Helsinki.Explore your tasks and responsibilities:
-To be a senior member of the team of planners and schedulers and ensure the project meets any and all milestones
-Responsible for the initial tender planning of all projects during the tender and pre-construction phases.
-Preparation of tender programmes and method statements to adequately demonstrate the sequence, methodology and timescales involved in the project
-Where working specifically on a project, responsible for initiating and maintaining on a regular basis the detailed construction programme together with a design and package procurement programme.
-Collect data and update programmes to show progress or delays
-Provide weekly and/or monthly reports to Project Manager
-Ensure that current procedures relating to planning are adhered to or amended to suit a particular client / project
-Remain up to date with current planning methods and introduce into Exyte Ireland if found to be advantageousShow your expertise:
-Experience in the Construction Industry in a planning role
-Knowledge of at least Primavera, Powerproject, MS Project, Excel and Word
-Membership of a professional institute is preferred
