Every Day.We are now looking for Financial Controller to join our Business Service Centre Team in Finland or in Tallinn. You will be responsible for the statutory accounting and IFRS financial reporting for Biomaterials companies and make sure that all IFRS and statutory accounting requirements are fulfilled. You will be ensuring that financial processes, transactions, and reporting adhere to established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. You will cooperate closely with local Regulators and external auditors, Finance teams, Group Tax Services, Business representatives and other Group Functions.Main tasks cover the following:

Responsibility for the statutory accounting and reporting for one or several legal entities
Preparation of monthly and quarterly VAT returns and annual VAT refunds for Finland and foreign countries
Contacting with local auditors and other official authorities as well as internal stakeholders, e.g. Business Units in Finland, Group Accounting and Reporting and Group Tax Services
Monitoring of accounting processes regarding correctness and completeness
Training and instructing operational units in accounting (mainly IFRS)
Participating in process development and improvement, including IT projects
Implementing, instructing and ensuring that Stora Enso accounting policies are followed
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual statistics
Performing internal controls within own area
Analysing actual period results

Your qualifications shall include a degree in Economics/Finance related fields, as well as minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience. You shall be a good communicator, able to work independently and in an international context.Skills, we expect you to have:

You communicate fluently in English and Finnish. Other languages are an advantage
Proactive, result oriented, willing to take initiative
Good networking and communication skills with experience acting in matrix organizations
Flexibility and ability to adapt to a changing working environment
Administrative skills and well structured
Ability to work under high time pressure and flexibility in working hours
