We are now looking for an enthusiastic Director for our Global Technical Sales and New Products team in Helsinki. If yes, please do read more!As a Team Director for Global Technical Sales and New Products, you will play a pivotal role in leading and motivating our regional technical sales teams to achieve and exceed sales targets. You will be responsible for managing a team of skilled technical sales professionals, fostering a collaborative environment, and implementing effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth. This role combines technical expertise with strong leadership and communication skills.In this role you are responsible for new product introductions to regional sales teams in collaboration with product and marketing teams, KIDE and CWP sales and global support for regional sales engineers for complicated cases, joining potentially to customer meetings. Our international organization is growing fast, and we continuously develop our way of working, so this role provides you an opportunity to join us in this path and grow professionally.Your main responsibilities would be- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of technical sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and ongoing training to enhance their skills and performance- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, identifying market opportunities and staying abreast of industry trends- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their technical requirements, and positioning our products/services as solutions that meet their needs- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, product management, research and development, and customer care, to ensure seamless communication and alignment of goals- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the team, ensuring that members are equipped with the necessary technical knowledge and sales skills.What we expect from you- Minimum M.Sc. level degree in applied or technical physics, or strong experience from a relative field- Proven experience in technical sales, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a high-performing team- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically to meet sales targets- Fluency in English, both written and spoken- Willingness to travel occasionallyWe also appreciate- Knowledge of cryogenic equipment- Knowledge of vacuum equipment- Good IT skills- Positive, hands-on attitude- Commitment to high quality and continuous improvement- Learning skills to commit to staying informed about industry trends, new technologies, and management best practices to enhance your leadership capabilitiesPlease apply as soon as possible, on May 1, 2024, at the latest at BLUEFORS.COM.
