The team is located both in Finland and Estonia.We are looking for a Head of Record to Report to join the Posti Service Center team. You will head a team of accounting professionals in both Baltics and Finland and be a part of Posti Service Center Leadership team. You play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity and efficiency of financial accounting and reporting processes in Posti Group. Together with the R2R team you provide financial accounting services to over 70 Posti legal companies.Your role as Head of Record to ReportYour main responsibility is to manage the end-to-end record to report process and month-end closing ensuring accuracy, efficiency and compliance while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and development within the team.Your responsibilities include:

General ledger accounting process including journal entries and reconciliations.
Financial accounting and controlling related reporting and analysis.
Guidance, training and support to other Posti finance teams.
Month-end closing process including IFRS adjustments in accounting systems.
Preparation of financial statements including balance sheet, income statements and cashflow.
Compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards and internal controls in R2R.
Communication and co-operation of financial accounting related items with stakeholders, including Group Finance, Business Controlling, auditors and other departments.
Continuous improvement within the R2R process.

Could this be you?

A finance-related educational background and relevant working experience on heading both a R2R team and process.
Practical experience on local accounting requirements (FAS). Experience on local requirements in Baltic countries or other Nordic countries is big plus.
Pride to ensure closing timetable accuracy.
Together with the Tax manager ensuring tax compliance with local regulations.
Experience on international company finance and reporting processes, and basic knowledge in consolidation and group accounting processes.
Knowledge of Finance ERP systems such as S/4HANA, IFRS Fatman and Consolidation (HFM).
KLT degree is seen as an advantage.
Also, knowledge of IFRS standards and requirements is a big plus.
Fluent language skills in both Finnish and English.
