- Overall project responsibility: project planning and implementation, scheduling, resourcing, leading procurement, contract and change management, risk management and ensuring compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and customer requirements in the project.
- Responsibility for the project success as per the set KPI's, including EHSQ, financial, quality and schedule targets of the project.
- Leading, motivating, and following up on the project team's progress and securing strong team spirit.
- Responsibility for the cooperation and contract management with customers and/or vendors.
- Responsibility for leading site execution and work safety, including acting as safety coordinator if/when project requires this.
- In external customer projects, supporting the sales team with technical discussions and estimation of hours to calculation (based on need).
- 5-10 years of experience working as a Project Manager, leading and implementing large projects from the energy industry, preferably the nuclear energy industry. Understanding of Finnish nuclear safety requirements (i.e. YVL guides), is seen as a strong value adding element.
- Master's Degree in Engineering (Energy techonology or other relevant field).
- Demonstrated performance in reaching key project KPI's (e.g. EHSQ, financial, schedule, quality, as well as customer and project team satisfaction).
- Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams with multiple interfaces. IPMA C certificate or equal skills, as a minimum requirement.
- Experience from project risk management, procurement, negotiations, contract and claim management.
- Leadership experience.
- Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously and a strong drive for safety. The Project Manager will be expected to act as a Safety Coordinator of own projects.
- Fluent skills in English is required for this role. Good skills in Finnish is also beneficial to read and understand documentation in the local language, including manuals used in a nuclear power plant environment.
