- Own the end-to-end UX across multiple web products, ensuring a coherent, high-quality user experience across the domain and alignment with the ICEYE brand
- Develop a deep understanding of user needs, workflows, and real-world constraints through customer research, user interviews, and direct customer meetings, including travel when required
- Translate business and user needs into clear user journeys, mental models, prototypes, and product direction, creating testable hypotheses and usable solutions that solve real problems
- Stay accountable for outcomes, not just design artifacts, by partnering closely with Product Management and Engineering to make pragmatic trade-offs across usability, technical constraints, delivery speed, and long-term maintainability
- Apply a hands-on, pragmatic approach to design systems, and use LLMs, modern AI tools, prototyping, and frontend experimentation when they help validate ideas or improve shipped UI
- Collaborate across a large, networked organization with designers in other domains, marketing design, sales, and customers to drive alignment and consistency
- Deep command of design foundations, including layout systems, typography, color, and visual hierarchy, with the ability to apply them in complex product environments
- Extensive experience designing complex professional web products and services for real users with real constraints, with expert proficiency in tools such as Figma and openness to integrating AI tools into everyday work
- A strong portfolio and proven track record of owning UX end-to-end, from discovery through shipped product to post-launch learning
- Confidence in customer research and direct user engagement, including interviews, workshops, and synthesizing insights into clear design direction
- Ability to clearly articulate UX decisions, trade-offs, and priorities to product, engineering, and business stakeholders
- Practical experience collaborating closely with engineering teams and engaging comfortably in technical discussions
- A pragmatic approach to design systems and a clear point of view on how LLMs are shaping product discovery, design, and UI development
