Job Description:Your roleAre you eager to help shape the future of wellbeing? Orion Pharma is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the strategic development and renovation project of our Espoo site laboratories. This large-scale project will ensure that the laboratories are equipped to meet Orion's evolving business and operational needs.This is a project-based position in Espoo, with an estimated duration of five years.ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Project Manager, you are responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the project, from early planning and feasibility phases through execution, commissioning and close-out. The main responsibilities include:
  • Leading a multidisciplinary facility renovation project in close collaboration with internal and external experts, ensuring that laboratory facilities are designed and executed to meet future business and operational requirements.
  • Driving change management, including timely, transparent and appropriately targeted communication to support business continuity and stakeholder alignment throughout the project
  • Understanding business and operational requirements and, based on these, planning and implementing temporary laboratory and facility solutions to ensure uninterrupted daily operations during the project.
  • Developing and leading an effective project organization, integrating all required technical and non-technical functions to enable successful project execution.
  • Setting the overall direction for the project team and translating defined business objectives and project priorities into a clear project vision with well-defined and coherent project objectives.
  • Executing the project in line with agreed targets, ensuring safe execution, full compliance with quality and GMP requirements, and delivery on time, within scope and the agreed budget
You will work with the project team in close collaboration with Facility Management, R&D, Quality Management and Fermion.   • Strong track record in leading large technical investment projects or programs. Previous experience in laboratory operations or construction and renovation projects is considered as an advantage.
  • Relevant education for the position, e.g. technical university degree
  • Proven capability in leading change in complex operational environments, balancing business continuity with transformation.
  • Excellent leadership, teamwork, negotiation and communication skills
  • Fluent in Finnish and English, both spoken and written, because we are working with both languages
