We are an international company with worldwide offices and our HQ is Vantaa, Finland.SummaryOur Marine Business Unit Upgrade team is growing, and we are now looking for a new colleague for a permanent position of Upgrade Project Manager. Our marine & offshore customers are the world’s biggest cruise ships, luxury yachts, ship yards, distributors, ship operators and refit suppliers. Your role as an Upgrade Project Manager is to manage HI-FOG material delivery and turnkey projects for our clients.RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you must have:

Several years of work experience in sales / project management and / or system engineering in a B2B environment
Experience & knowledge in electrical/automation systems (PLC systems)
Education in Engineering or other relevant field
Customer service oriented can-do attitude
Analytical problem solving skills
Fluent communication skills in English, written and spoken
Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work both in a network and make independent decisions
Flexibility to work outside normal office hours (due to customer/project locations)

Although not necessary, it would be an advantage:

Experience in marine technology, rules and regulations
Experience of HI-FOG systems
Experience in hydraulics or fire protection systems
Finnish or other language skills

Responsibilities:

Ensuring customers receive the best customized solution for their needs, ensuring that the project specific design is suitable for customer requirements
Managing and coordinating the project schedule
Managing project resources, handling material orders, invoicing, following up on the deliverables and the project’s financial budget
Communicating with the customer and classification societies
Working in tight collaboration with colleagues, supporting functions at Marioff such as: S&AM Sales, Service and Commissioning teams & other departments
