We are looking for a Technology Manager to take responsibility for electricity procurement in the Premises department of our Network Services (NS). NS is responsible for designing, implementation and operation of Elisa's networks.Job descriptionIn this role you will be responsible for centralised electricity procurement for the entire organisation and indirect procurement for Premises. This will include understanding and managing the contract base of both mobile and fixed access rental facilities. You will have the opportunity to develop standardised processes in your area of responsibility. The role is new, and it will require independent and fast decision-making and action-taking.Your responsibilities include:

Acting as the commercial specialist for energy procurement including renewable energy and CO2 compensations.
Drafting technical analysis-, procurement- and maintenance contracts, as well as documenting, assessing, prioritizing, and validating selected solutions.
Understanding and managing the content and commitments of our rental agreement base.
Managing our partners related to energy portfolios and energy reporting.
Drafting forecasts and reports relating to electricity usage and financials.
Ownership of systems and platforms relating to your area of responsibility (including responsibility for information security). This will include analysing and making recommendations on the use of specific systems, and ensuring the efficacy, effectiveness and development of systems and technologies.
Participating in the daily work relating to energy procurement, and close collaboration with our finance department, other technology managers, procurement, vendors, business, application developers and other stakeholders.

Helsinki is the preferred location, but you can also work from other locations in Finland.RequirementsIn order for you to succeed in this role, we expect you to have the following:

Solid understanding of electricity procurement, contract management and forecasting
A minimum of 5 years of recent experience in energy technologies
Effective partner management and communication skills
Suitable Master’s-level degree in e.g. Electrical Engineering
Fluent Finnish and English language skills
Mindset of a developer
