As Cloud Solutions Expert, you will be responsible for designing, building, and overseeing complex cloud-based solutions that meet the technical and business requirements of u-blox. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to create scalable, reliable, and high-performance cloud architectures while considering factors such as security, cost optimization, and future scalability, mixing cloud solutions from multiple cloud providers, SaaS and even hybrid. You would love to collaborate with internal departments, teams, and stakeholders to understand business goals, and technical requirements, and design cloud solutions that align with these objectives. To be successful in this role, you can count on your ability to break down complex problems into structured action plans and your continuous improvement mindset. You will have to stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in cloud computing, providing thought leadership and recommending new technologies that could benefit the organization: assist in evaluating and selecting third-party cloud services, tools, and technologies that complement the organization's cloud strategy will be part of your tasks.
The role will be held in Tampere (Finland), or Cambourne (UK), and we can't consider fully remote applicants.Your Responsibilities:

Design and develop cloud architecture solutions, considering factors such as reliability, scalability, security, performance, and cost optimization.
Choose appropriate cloud services and technologies (such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, SaaS Platforms, etc.) based on the project's requirements and the organization's needs.
Create architectural diagrams, documentation, and technical specifications to communicate the proposed solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Implement cloud solutions by configuring services, setting up infrastructure as code (IaC), and developing scripts or automation tools.
Lead cloud migrations, including lifting and shifting existing applications and data to the cloud or rearchitecting them for cloud-native capabilities.
Ensure cloud environments are highly available, fault-tolerant, and secure by implementing best practices, industry standards, and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and automate deployment processes.
Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and other issues.

Your Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven experience as a Cloud Solutions Expert or similar role, demonstrating successful design and implementation of cloud solutions
In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or others.
Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, including microservices, containerization, serverless computing, and distributed systems.
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
Experience in cloud migrations, converting on-prem architectures to cloud-native architecture and executing the migrations.
Industry certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, or similar certifications are a plus.
