In this role, you will take over the responsibility for certain commodity groups and projects including supplier sourcing, selection, relationship management and evaluation. Other tasks are as follows:
Negotiation of purchase prices, terms and conditions, supply frame contracts and bonus agreements in accordance with organizational goals and purchasing policies.
Coordination of purchasing activities as Core Team Buyer for selected projects of Oras Groups' new product and new technology introduction.
Cooperation with technical departments and product management to identify saving potentials and to increase quality and availability of purchased components.
Supporting in optimization projects, master data validation and analyzing.
As our ideal candidate you are convincing and confident, have solid commercial experience especially in the field of purchasing, an appropriate bachelor’s or master's degree, and flair for negotiation and networking. Technical understanding is required. In addition to Finnish, fluency in professional English is a prerequisite for successful collaboration: The main location of the position could be Rauma (Finland)/Stuttgart (Germany)/Olesno (Poland), but regular contact with all Oras Group units and suppliers around the world is essential.
