Tietoevry Banking delivers scalable and modular Banking as a Service and leading software built by unmatched industry expertise, accelerating the digital transformation of financial institutions.When joining Tietoevry Banking as a Chief AccountantYou join a skilled team of finance professionals, where you learn new things with your colleagues. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, on a global level, to support overall company objectives.Responsibilities for this role include monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, VAT periodic returns, annual report according to FAS and income tax calculations and reports.You will also:

Participate in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations
Monitor and record financial transactions according to company policies and statutory regulations
Respond to bookkeeping inquiries from business
Provide guidance to other accountants when needed
Participate to development activities in accounting and finance
Being an integral part of the day-to-day operations

Experience from financial accounting and reporting according to IFRS and FAS
Excellent figure comprehension and analytical skills
Able to work in a deadline-driven environment
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance and accounting
Working knowledge of ERP systems
Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel
Fluent in Finnish and English, both verbal and written
