We are always on the lookout for future-oriented talent - want to join the ride?We are looking for a Solution Architect, whose focus will be software development projects and acting as a Tech lead role for those. Today also AI-aided software development is in the focus and the selected candidate should have vision and capability to drive the area as well. The preferred location for this position is Helsinki, however Vaasa and Turku are also possible. Our teams typically work in hybrid mode.Your role and responsibilitiesAs a Solution Architect, Software Development you will guide the technical direction of selected software development projects and supporting solution software developers and other main stakeholders for the building of fit-for-purpose solution. You will work hands-on with a team of experienced and skilled professional while serving as the architectural anchor for our modern way of working.This is a hybrid role: part technical excellence, part architectural thinking, part stakeholder collaboration. You'll translate customer requirements into actionable technical designs, ensure alignment towards tactical plans and technology teams within the organisation, and safeguard the long-term maintainability of systems.To succeed in the position, you are seen by colleagues as an expert in your field, and you show a passionate interest and attitude towards cloud native, API-first development.You will be working as a part of a skilled Platform Engineering and Developer Services team with a diverse expertise set.These will be your key responsibilities:

Acting as the Tech Lead for the selected projects

Leading and mentoring the development team in building scalable, secure, and modular service

Working closely with the Product Owner(s) to translate customer and business needs into clear technical specifications, system designs, and implementation plans.

Collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organisation to ensure alignment and capture new opportunities for cross-product collaboration.

Ensuring documentation and architecture diagrams are consistently maintained and communicated.

Championing modern engineering practices, including DevOps, testing automation, event-driven design and incremental delivery.

Fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

To be able to succeed in the position, we expect you to have:10 years of experience in professional software development(5 years of) Experience leading technical teamsExperience with Agile methodologies: Scrum / Kanban. Experience of Scrum Master role is a plus.Experience in managing technical debtGood understanding of DevOps and modern CI/CD solutionsUnderstanding modern software architectures and integration patternsUnderstanding of modern cloud platformsUnderstanding of OAuth, especially with Azure Entra IDUnderstanding of Cyber Security and common vulnerabilitiesAbility to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, turning business goals into implementable and maintainable softwareWillingness to take responsibility for building high performing development teamsThe following would also be seen as an advantage:

Experience in working as SCRUM Master

Experience in Atlassian toolset
