Our more than 1,700 professionals serve across 30 locations throughout Finland.**Would you be our new Lead Planner?**As a Lead Planner at Granlund, you will take overall responsibility for project planning and project controls in large-scale construction, industrial, and data center projects. You will build and manage comprehensive project schedules, structure scopes into clear work breakdown structures and work packages, and ensure that timelines, resources, and costs are aligned throughout the project lifecycle. Your role is central to keeping projects under control, from identifying critical paths and managing risks to supporting decision-making with clear, data-driven insights and reporting.You will work closely with the Project Director and operate in a matrix organization, guiding schedulers, cost managers, and other specialists. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution and requires continuous collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders, from site teams to senior client representatives in international environments. You will play a key role in communication and reporting, ensuring transparency and alignment across the project while driving progress and enabling informed decision-making.The position is a full-time and permanent role, and you will be employed directly by Granlund. The role follows a hybrid working model, allowing you to work from any Granlund office in Finland combined with remote work. The position requires willingness to travel to the project sites within Finland as part of the role.**What are we looking for?**We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in project planning, project controls, or project management within large-scale construction, industrial, or data center projects. You hold a relevant engineering degree (e.g. construction, mechanical, process, or industrial engineering) and have hands-on experience in building and managing project schedules. You understand how projects move from planning to execution, and how timelines, costs, and resources are interconnected. You are familiar with scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or similar, and have a solid understanding of scheduling logic, critical paths, and dependencies. Experience in cost control or earned value management is considered an advantage, as is exposure to complex international project environments and large investment projects. You communicate fluently in English, and Finnish language skills are considered an asset.As a person, you are analytical and structured, with the ability to manage complex entities while keeping the big picture in focus. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and take ownership of your work. You communicate confidently with stakeholders at different levels and are able to influence and drive progress.
