ABB Distribution Solutions is now looking for a VHDL/FPGA Design Engineer. In this position, you will participate in designing of VHDL/FPGA based designs in R&D projects. You will work with maintenance and/or new designs depending on your interest and expertise area.You might be a recent graduate or more experienced expert, the role will be matched with your background and skills.You are offered

You might be the person we are looking for, if you have:
- Suitable educational background (for example M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in electronics, electrical engineering, SW engineering or other relevant field)
- Some relevant work experience within VHDL/FPGA design (or SoC)
- Fluency in English, Finnish is seen as an advantage
- Initiative attitude
- Great enthusiasm to learn new things
- Competence and experience especially in the following areas are seen as advantages: soft processor core, C programming, simulation tools (for example ModelSim), version control (for example GIT) and CI.Other information
