Our vision is to be a leading dairy and food company with loved brands and innovative solutions.We are looking for a Business Controller to join the Finance Business Partnering team to support the management and category leaders of the Food Business Unit. This is a fixed-term position starting as soon as possible and lasting for minimum a year, as the current Business Controller temporarily moves to other tasks.The Food Business Unit is a very important growth segment for Valio. The unit includes non-dairy products, where we are seeking growth in line with our strategy. Especially the segment of plant-based meals and our company Oddlygood, which specializes in plant-based products, have grown in recent years both organically and through acquisitions, and the trend continues. In this unit, you will have the opportunity to develop Valio's future growth in a dynamic environment and team.Your task is to act as the Finance Business Partner for the management of the Food Business Unit and support them with financial data, analyses, calculations, and insights, as well as actively participate in decision-making at various levels of the unit. You will be supported by controllers responsible for product costing and factories in the business area, as well as other colleagues in the Finance Business Partnering team.In this role, you will be responsible for:

Managing, analyzing, and reporting the financial data and forecasts of the Food Business Unit. You will also actively present your views on the financial impacts and consequences of business decisions and develop forecasts, simulations and other financial analyses to support decision-making.
Preparing the actual calculations, simulation models and presentations to support business decisions.
Analyzing the profitability of Food entities and monitoring the costs of the responsibility area.
Taking care of the rolling planning and other financial processes in Food Business Unit.

We expect you to have:

A relevant higher education degree.
At least 3-5 years of experience in business controller or controller roles. Experience in the manufacturing industry, product costing, and/or factory controller role is a significant advantage.
Proactivity and strong business orientation.
Analytical skills and the ability to formulate and communicate conclusions and recommendations.
Active interaction and collaboration skills.
