Our Application Engineering (AE) team is looking for a Summer Intern to work on language model-based AI tools for technical documentation.
The role focuses on applying AI tools to support documentation workflows, including content creation, content correctness checking, and basic usability evaluation, using enterprise AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot. The work includes analyzing documentation quality and user experience, and providing feedback to engineers and documentation stakeholders.The position is located at the u-blox Engineering site in Espoo, Finland.Your Responsibilities
  • Apply AI tools to support technical documentation workflows
  • Support content creation, review, and correctness checking
  • Analyze documentation clarity, consistency, and structure
  • Perform basic UX evaluation using heuristic methods
  • Document results and communicate findings
Your Skills and Experience
  • Ongoing studies in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, AI, or a related field
  • Experience with AI, language models, or NLP-based applications
  • Interest in technical documentation or usability
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good English communication skills
Bonus points (not mandatory)
  • Programming or scripting skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Copilot or similar enterprise AI tools
  • Documentation formats (e.g. Markdown, XML, DITA)
  • UX or usability evaluation methods
