IT Director

• Develop and execute an IT strategy that supports growth, scalability, and business development.
• Modernize IT architecture and technology platforms to be modular, cloud-based, and future-ready.
• Oversee IT infrastructure and application development, including renewal of ERP, CRM, and PLM systems, system integrations, and continuity management.
• Analyze current IT costs and lead initiatives to optimize the IT cost structure for profitable growth.
• Ensure high-level information security and compliance with regulations, including sector-specific requirements and GDPR.
• Collaborate closely with the corporate management, business leadership, and other stakeholders to prioritize and implement IT development.
• Lead and develop an agile, growth-driven, and skilled IT organization.
• Prepare the organization for broader digitalization and data-driven decision-making, enabling future AI, analytics, and automation solutions.

• Seasoned IT leader with proven success in shaping and delivering enterprise-grade IT and digital strategies in regulated industries.
• Adept at managing cybersecurity, infrastructure, digital platforms, and enterprise systems.
• Strong collaborator and communicator capable of bridging technical execution with business outcomes.
• You have proven experience in change management in complex environments, with the ability to balance costs, risks, and business needs.
• A hands-on, execution-oriented mindset, combined with familiarity with modern IT service and product models (e.g. cloud solutions, agile ways of working).
• Working preferably in Oulu, also other Bittium locations are possible. You are also able to travel between Bittium sites in Finland.
• Fluent in oral and written English.
• Due to the nature of Bittium’s business and our customers’ expectations, you are a Finnish citizen and able to pass security clearance conducted by the Finnish Security Intelligence Service (SUPO).
