About the roleIn this position, you will work within the Industrial Measurements business area, focusing on high-precision instruments used in demanding industrial processes. Unlike pure electronics testing, this role focuses on the performance and durability of the complete product.You will join a program consisting of multiple R&D projects where youll be supported by senior test engineers. The work is 100% on-site at Vaisalas modern headquarters and laboratories in Vantaa, allowing you to work closely with physical devices and design teams.You are offered

– Environmental & Reliability Testing: Executing tests according to established setups (e.g., thermal cycling) and reporting the results.
– Mechanical Observation: Analyzing how plastics, metals, and coatings react under stress
– Failure Analysis: Troubleshooting mechanical and hardware issues in collaboration with electronics, mechanical, and software designers.
– Documentation: Reporting findings and managing test cases using Jira and Confluence.We are looking for– A relevant degree in engineering (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, or Electronics). We also welcome students in the final stages of their studies.
– Previous experience from technical summer jobs, internships, or hobbies (e.g., maintenance, assembly, repair, or DIY electronics/mechanics projects).
– A solid technical foundation and a meticulous eye for detail. This role is about understanding the physical hardware and materials.
– Fluency in English is required. Finnish is considered an advantage.It is meritorious if you have
– Good knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
– Some knowledge of Atlas.
