(Tech) / PhD). Most of the positions are to be funded for three years. Shorter periods can also be considered. Thus, the candidate needs to find a committed supervisor from Tampere University before submitting the application. Please check the links and the document provided above to find a potential responsible supervisor.The candidates are selected based on the researcher potential demonstrated through the previous studies and merits in research work and thesis writing. In particular, the relevant indicators, in the order of importance, that we examine at the first stage are (1) Grade of M.Sc. thesis, (2) GPA of M.Sc. and B.Sc. studies, (3) preliminary research plan, signed by applicant and responsible supervisor#_msocom_3, (4) motivation letter and research experience, (5) academic merits listed in the CV, considering the career stage of the applicant.
