You will play a critical role in creating value by identifying sourcing opportunities, implementing sourcing strategies and optimizing sustainable value through supplier relationship management and collaboration with all stakeholders. Lead the regional sourcing activities, which primarily focuses on overland transport, but also includes air & ocean, parcel, and brokerage services.
Evaluate the most important drivers of the logistics market and regularly publish regional logistics market intelligence.
Execute sourcing strategy for the region and create initiatives for network optimization across multiple stakeholders.
Collaborate with peers as a team-player in multi-modal, cross-region synergies.
Manage key logistics service provider relationships on an ongoing basis, measure, and track performance through KPIs and business review meetings and collaborate to achieve value and continuous improvement.
Your background
Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or other relevant discipline.
Minimum 6 years of experience working in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, Supply Chain, Logistics Operations, or related field.
Proven performer in Logistics industry or in Logistics Sourcing function.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Advanced analytical skills with the capability to transform data into actionable plans.
Fluent English language skills.
