In this position, you’re responsible for the overall business performance and development of the Territory – Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania – acting as the local ambassador for Sandvik. Your role combines strategic leadership with hands-on engagement to ensure customer satisfaction and sustainable growth.Your key responsibilitiesDriving short- and long-term business plans and growth initiatives.Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and distributors.Leading and developing the Territory team, fostering engagement and succession planning.Support deal closings and assist with high level negotiations.Managing financial performance, budgets, and cost control.Ensuring compliance with Environment, Health & Safety standards and promoting a strong safety culture.Overseeing customer service excellence and forecasting for equipment and aftermarket sales.The role is based in Finland, and travel across the Territory and sometimes other countries is part of the job – up to 50% annually. You report to the VP Sales Area Northern Europe and collaborate closely with legal entities and shared functions like Finance, HR, and EHS.Your profileYou have a background in mining, construction, or heavy engineering, combined with strong business development skills and a proven ability to deliver sales growth.You understand industry trends and customer processes, and you have experience in people management.Financial acumen, strategic planning skills, and familiarity with matrix organizations are essential.You’re an experienced leader who inspires and motivates teams. You combine flexibility and initiatives with strong interpersonal and communication skills.Thriving in complex environments, you manage time effectively and build trust through integrity and customer focus.
