In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for local outbound operations. Each day, you will supervise and support performance of forwarding companies. You will also showcase your skills by ensuring smooth execution of operational trade and export control regulation activities within a local unit, including relevant documentation and compliance with regulations.The work model for the role is: hybrid #LI-HybridThis role is contributing to the ABB Oy, Drive Products division, Box Build Operations in HelsinkiYou will be mainly accountable forPlanning, coordinating and optimizing outbound transportation operations to ensure timely pick-ups, deliveries, and dispatchingOwning day-to-day transportation execution and service performance, including monitoring KPI’s, analyzing transportation tracking data, investigating service deviations, and driving corrective actionsDriving cost-efficiency and risk management by identifying opportunities to reduce operational costs, developing contingency plans and ensuring claim handling when requiredExecuting export control compliance by carrying out operational screening activities in accordance with defined proceduresEnsuring accuracy and completeness of transportation related documentation in cooperation with relevant stakeholdersQualifications for the roleYou are fluent in English, both written and spokenProactive approach towards feedback and continuous development is essentialBachelor's Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Transportation Management, Business Administration, or related field is strongly preferred3-5 years of experience in transportation, logistics operations, or supply chain roles is requiredDemonstrated ability to learn and use new tools, processes, and meet changing customer needsSolid understanding of logistics processes, transportation regulations and compliance requirementsExperience working with export documentation or trade compliance processes is beneficialWhat's in it for you?Role where your decisions directly improve efficiency, customer satisfaction and logistics performance.
