Make Impossible Possible in New Space - Join ICEYEICEYE is building and operating its own commercial constellation of small Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellites with SAR data available to customers. We also are selling satellites to Government’s and commercial organizations. Our satellites acquire images of Earth at any time – even through clouds or at night – providing commercial and government partners with unmatched persistent monitoring capabilities. Information derived from our SAR images helps customers make data-driven decisions to address time-critical challenges in various sectors, such as maritime, disaster management, insurance, and finance.We launched the world’s first small SAR satellite in January 2018. To date, ICEYE has successfully launched a total of 25+ SAR satellite missions and has raised $304M in financing. Being advocates of our , we value teamwork, curiosity, and we know how to have fun!We are seeking a Bids & Proposals Manager, based in either Finland or the UK to provide for our data business with ambitious targets to fulfill throughout 2024 and beyond.As the Bids & Proposals Manager you will be responsible for leading an amazing team that provides proposal management and sales team support, delivered to our global customers. We are looking for a team manager who is passionate about and can demonstrate performance meeting demanding timelines in a scale up environment.Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate all bids and proposals required by ICEYE International (non-US) for Data
  • Ensure the issue of discriminating bid winning proposals
  • Support the Sales team with their bids and proposals needs
  • Bring new thinking and ideas to improve proposal production and win quality
  • Understand the product definition and roadmap
  • Build relationships with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Product, Legal, Finance, and Spacecraft to support proposal development

RequirementsRequired
  • Relevant educational and sales/business development background
  • Experience with ESA / EU tender response
  • Experience with public sector/government tender response
  • Proven experience within similar proposal role with record of successful program capture based on your B&P leadership
  • Highly attentive to details to include establishing milestones, dependencies, assessment of solution compliance and competitive positioning.
  • Ability to multi-task and be self-motivated in a highly disparate environment juggling multiple projects
  • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills (technical fluency in English required)
  • Experience in producing high-quality English written proposal documents
  • Strong people skills
  • Demonstrated performance providing a high-level of customer service and communications
Preferred
  • Aerospace, Defence, or Space industry experience
  • Experience working with and managing international defense or commercial customers
  • Some experience of functional management / team leadership experience
