- Technical Bridge: Translate electrical schematics and industrial control requirements into functional development architecture. You ensure the software logic aligns perfectly with the electrical hardware.
- Test Environment Ownership: Construct and maintain physical test frameworks and setups. You are responsible for the technical integrity of the environments where our systems are verified.
- Cross-Functional Cooperation:
- Work daily with Software Developers to guide the implementation of hardware-related logic.
- Partner with the Test Manager to design technical verification cases that prove system reliability.
- Collaborate with Test Automation Owners to ensure regression testing covers complex electrical and system-level use cases.
- Hands-on Verification: Lead the technical validation in the test laboratory. You are responsible for ensuring that sensors, motors, and controllers interact correctly under real-world conditions.
- Technical Organization: Use digital collaboration systems to document technical decisions, architecture changes, and verification results. You ensure the technical "Big Picture" is always transparent for the engineering team.
- A degree in computer engineering, automation or electrical engineering
- Hands-on experience in material handling applications is strongly preferred and will weigh heavily in the evaluation
- 3-6 years of previous industry experience in positions such as system engineer, or electrical engineer with an understanding to software development and /or software testing

- Electrical Expertise: Proven experience in electrical installation and maintenance of industrial control systems. You understand the physical behaviour of control cabinets and field components.
- Physical Framework Construction: The ability to physically build and wire test setups and maintain the frameworks used for software validation.
- System-Level Engineering: A strong ability to structure how embedded software, electrical circuits, and mechanical movements work together as a single system.
- Technical Ownership: You are a proactive specialist who provides concrete technical solutions rather than just identifying problems. You believe that clear technical documentation is the foundation of a successful product.
- Pragmatic Approach: You focus on high-quality technical outcomes and understand how to prioritize technical tasks to meet engineering goals.
