We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to manage and deliver the mechanical scope on a large-scale data center construction project. Reporting to the Mechanical Lead, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling mechanical works to meet project safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives.You will lead and coordinate a site-based mechanical team, working closely with construction, commissioning, QAQC, and commercial teams.Key ResponsibilitiesMechanical Delivery & CoordinationManage day-to-day delivery of the mechanical scope, including CWP, plumbing, and HVAC systemsEnsure mechanical works are executed in line with project specifications, drawings, and scheduleCoordinate mechanical activities with CSA, Electrical, Logistics, and Commissioning teamsTeam LeadershipLead, manage, and support the mechanical teamSet clear objectives, responsibilities, and performance expectationsEnsure adequate supervision and safe execution of worksPlanning & Interface ManagementDevelop and manage short- and medium-term mechanical construction plansResolve technical, sequencing, and interface issues across disciplinesSupport constructability reviews and method statement developmentSafety, Quality & ComplianceEnsure compliance with HSE requirements, permits, and project safety standardsWork closely with QAQC to implement ITPs, inspections, and testingEnsure mechanical installations meet quality and commissioning readiness requirementsCommercial & Progress ControlSupport cost control, progress tracking, and variation management for mechanical worksCoordinate with procurement and subcontractors on deliveries and scope executionHandover & Commissioning SupportCoordinate mechanical completion, punch list closure, and documentationSupport mechanical systems handover and commissioning activitiesQualifications & ExperienceDegree in Mechanical Engineering or a related disciplineMinimum 8+ years’ experience in mechanical project delivery within constructionProven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager or Senior Mechanical Engineer on large-scale projectsStrong knowledge of CWP, plumbing, and HVAC systems, ideally in data center or mission-critical environmentsExperience managing multi-disciplinary mechanical teams and subcontractorsStrong leadership, planning, and coordination skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesFluent English required; Finnish skills are an advantageWhat We OfferA key leadership role within the mechanical organization on a major data center projectClear reporting structure and support from experienced Mechanical LeadCollaboration with experienced CSA, Electrical, QAQC, and Commissioning teamsCompetitive compensation and benefitsLong-term career opportunities within an international general contractor
