At Eaton, we are committed to Lead, Invest and Execute for Growth.This role supports the Manufacturing Technology Team by ensuring electrical safety in manufacturing and testing processes for UPS devices. The position involves championing Electrical Safe Work Practices under the MESH program and serving as the Safety Responsible Person for Eaton’s Electrical Safety Program. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of safety standards and guidelines, backed by proven practical experience in electrical safety.You will work as part of the Manufacturing Technology Team, focusing on safety-oriented electrical engineering activities related to manufacturing and testing processes for UPS devices.## What you’ll do:The Electrical Engineer will support ongoing and upcoming investment projects related to electrical and test systems. Due to the increased number and technical complexity of investments, additional electrical engineering resources are required to ensure projects are executed according to schedule, cost, and quality targets.
The role focuses on electrical system design, commissioning, validation, and hands‑on support during critical project phases. The position is temporary and directly linked to peak workload caused by investment projects.Electrical Engineering & Design
  • Electrical design for investment projects related to electrical and test systems
  • Development and review of electrical schematics, layouts, and system architectures
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable electrical standards, safety requirements, and internal guidelines
Commissioning & Validation
  • Hands‑on participation in commissioning and validation of new electrical and test systems
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during commissioning phases
  • Supporting smooth system start‑up and handover to operations
Project & Technical Support
  • Providing technical support to project teams during installation and commissioning
  • Supporting project execution to minimize risks related to schedule, cost, and quality
  • Close collaboration with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and contractors
Documentation - Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including:
  • Electrical drawings and specifications
  • Commissioning and validation documentation
  • Operating and maintenance instructions
## Qualifications:
  • University degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
  • Experience in industrial electrical design
## Skills:
  • Electrical engineering for industrial level of installations and systems, grid simulation and protection coordination
  • Fluency in English
  • At least upper intermediate level Finnish language skills
