Sheet Metal Operator / Programmer (Bending & Punching)We are looking for an experienced sheet metal operator / programmer to join a modern manufacturing environment specializing in high-quality sheet metal processing. The work is long-term and suitable for a skilled professional, not just short seasonal employment.About the roleIn this position, you will work with sheet metal bending and/or punching production, using both modern automated systems and traditional CNC machinery.Your main responsibilities include:
  • Operating and programming sheet metal bending machines and/or punching machines
  • Setting up machines and adjusting parameters based on drawings
  • Producing parts according to quality and tolerance requirements
  • Working with both small and larger production series
  • Ensuring efficient and cost-effective production methods
Machines and technologyYou may work with advanced equipment such as:
  • Hydraulic press brakes (up to 4200 mm bending length)
  • Servo-electric press brakes (up to 3100 mm)
  • Automatic panel bender (Salvagnini P4Xe, up to 2180 mm)
  • Punching & laser cutting combo machines (Finn-Power systems)
  • Punching & shearing combo machines with automation
The production includes forming, marking, tapping, punching, and complex sheet metal forming operations. The most suitable machine is always selected based on efficiency and product requirements.What we expect from you
  • Experience in sheet metal work (minimum 15 years preferred)
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Experience in CNC machine operation or programming
  • Understanding of machining tolerances and production quality
  • Finnish or English language skills
