We are looking for an experienced and passionate Sales & Operations Director to join our leadership team. You will play a key role in shaping and scaling our business, leading both commercial strategy and daily operations with a strong sense of purpose, quality, and team spirit.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
Develop and implement the sales strategy across B2B and B2C channels
(international agencies, tour operators, direct clients/ walkin).
Identify and establish key partnerships to grow our market presence across Europe
and beyond.
Manage pricing, offers, and revenue strategies in line with seasonal trends.
Represent Arctic Wonders at trade shows, events, and industry forums.Operations Management
Oversee and coordinate all operational activities: tours, guides, logistics, bookings,
and client experience.
Recruit, train, and lead a seasonal and permanent operations team.
Ensure excellence in customer experience from booking to post-trip feedback.
Maintain high standards of safety, sustainability, and compliance with local regulations.
The candidate should be flexible and prepared to occasionally lead as guide
last-minute safaris in case of staff absences due to illness or unexpected
overbookings.Leadership & Strategy
Act as a strategic partner to the founders in developing the company vision and
growth roadmap.
Monitor KPIs, budgets, and operational performance.
Foster a strong, values-driven company culture.Requirements
Proven experience in a senior role in tourism, hospitality, or outdoor adventure
(minimum 5 years).
Strong background in both sales and operations.
Fluent in English; other languages (especially Finnish and French) are a plus.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Willingness to be based in or relocate to Finnish Lapland (Sodankylä) for the winter
season minimum.
Passion for outdoor life, Arctic nature, and human-centered travel.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data reporting
Strong problem-solving skillsUse of Technology
