Salary: €100,000 - €110,000 + Accommodation + Transport + Rotation 17/4 + €1,000 Living Cost p/m
Location: Espoo, Uusimaa, Finland
Type: Full-Time, Site-BasedWe are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a major data centre project in Espoo, Finland. This position is site-based and involves working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver high-quality mechanical systems and installations.The Mechanical Engineer will support technical delivery, design coordination, procurement, and oversight of mechanical services throughout the full project lifecycle.Key Responsibilities
- Manage communication with clients and project stakeholders
- Lead or support design management activities
- Coordinate with contractors to ensure mechanical and MEP services integrate seamlessly
- Prepare method statements and risk assessments for construction activities
- Complete all HVAC-related deliverables in alignment with project and safety standards
- Coordinate installation sequencing for pipework and mechanical systems
- Oversee procurement of plant, materials, and specialist subcontractors
- Support installation works to achieve the required quality standards and programme milestones
- Assist with commissioning activities and final project handover
- Document and cost changes to scope, and support monthly valuations and final accounts
- Proven experience in a mechanical engineering role within an M&E contracting environment
- Strong design management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
