We are looking for a cook for our Thai restaurant in Kuopio, where traditional Thai food is prepared using authentic methods.The duties of the cook include working independently in preparing buffet lunches as well as dishes from the à la carte menu. We require solid experience in wok cooking and in preparing Thai cuisine. Lunch service in particular is busy, so a thorough knowledge of Thai food is an absolute requirement.The position requires proficiency in both the Thai and Finnish languages. Communication in the kitchen is mainly in Thai, recipes are in Thai, and some of the ingredients come from Thailand. When serving customers, Finnish language skills are required.
