- Drive successful, company-wide adoption of Cursor IDE, Claude Code, Devin, and other AI-powered engineering tools.
- Work directly with engineering teams to coach, pair, and work alongside them as they adapt to integrate AI tools into daily work.
- Create, curate, and share practical playbooks, workflows, and best practices for AI-assisted software development.
- Launch and sustain a vibrant internal community of practice: office hours, Slack support, hack days, and more.
- Continuously track and share success stories, usage metrics, and tips that keep momentum high.
- Act as a trusted partner across engineering layers to identify blockers and expand impact.
- Proven experience as a full-time software developer; you are a developer by nature who finds joy in helping others succeed.
- Strong engineering background with fluency in modern software development workflows.
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and Devin — even if it’s only for the past few months — as long as you show deep curiosity and passion for mastering them.
- Passion for enabling teams: you're energized by helping others deliver great work.
- Clear, engaging communication style in both written and spoken formats.
- Adaptability to rapid change: what we do today will look very different in 12 to 24 months.
- Comfort working autonomously and across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Believe showing > telling. You’re not a theorist — you learn tools by using them, and help others do the same.
- Like to move fast and help others build momentum.
- Enjoy zooming in and out: pairing on code one hour, writing a tipsheet the next, giving a talk after that.
- Have fun communicating with engineers in their language (yes to memes, code snippets, & emojis 😉)
- Are allergic to bureaucracy, but rigorous about what matters.
- Get excited about the idea of being ICEYE’s first AI-native developer advocate.
- Prefer theory and process over hands-on usage.
- Struggle with ambiguity or resist changing plans.
- Avoid writing and sharing code.
- Expect someone else to define every next step.
