We are seeking a Quality Engineer to support growing manufacturing in Finland while working closely with our local and global teams and our supplier network. Your work will help ensure product quality that meets and exceeds customer expectations.Your role
As a Quality Engineer, you will work closely with production, process engineering, test engineering, and suppliers to improve everyday quality performance. Your work includes analyzing product and supplier quality performance data, identifying recurring issues, following up improvement actions, and their effectiveness. Through continuous analysis and hands‑on collaboration, you will help strengthen process stability and product quality over time.ResponsibilitiesQuality performance monitoring
Monitor product and supplier quality performance and drive continuous improvement with internal teams and suppliers.Nonconformity management
Handle internal and supplier nonconformities, including quarantine, investigation, and timely closureQuality control processes
Lead the implementation and development of Quality Control processes.Supplier audits and changes
Lead supplier management system audits and manage supplier change requests.Continuous Improvement
Support internal and external audits and other Management System activities. Contribute to Lean manufacturing initiatives.What we expectBachelor degree or above in Electronics Engineering, or other relevant engineering field3-5 years experience in supplier or product quality improvement workHands-on experience on quality and continuous improvement tools (e.g. PDCA, A3, 5 Whys, FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, Pareto analysis, Lean tools)Familiar with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirementsFluent written and spoken EnglishSelf-motivated, proactive and result oriented team playerWillingness to travelLean Six Sigma Green Belt (preferred)Expected value of short- and long-term goals1-6 monthsLearn DT products, production flows, quality processes, and stakeholders in FinlandExecute Quality Engineer tasks with supportReport product and supplier quality performance6-12 monthsOwn Quality Engineer responsibilities for Finland productionOwn quality reporting and follow‑up with relevant stakeholdersSupport development of local quality control practicesSupport internal and external audit activities12-24 monthsDrive local quality engineering and quality control independently, with escalation as neededPerform internal and external audits independentlyContribute to DT Group quality processes and strategy developmentLocation
