As a System-on-Chip (SoC) Validation Trainee/Thesis Worker at Nokia, you will be part of our SoC validation team, which focuses on testing and validating the Nokia ReefShark family of SoCs. Your role will involve ensuring the quality of our custom silicon by integrating and testing SoC software and hardware implementations. You will work closely with a diverse team of over 100 professionals from 13 different nationalities who are dedicated to achieving technology leadership in 5G and coming 6G networks. Overall, this role will provide you with valuable experience in SoC validation, hands-on work with cutting-edge technologies, and the chance to contribute to Nokia's innovation in the telecommunications industry.Responsibilities:

Put theoretical knowledge into practice in SoC research and development projects
Ensure quality of custom silicon in 5G and coming 6G networks
Integrate and test SoC software and hardware implementations
Knowledge or experience in SoC design flow and process, digital techniques and design, embedded software development, test development and automation, DevOps, CI, automation flow development, and 3GPP standards
Collaborate effectively in a multicultural team

Qualifications:You have:

Some experience in test development and automation with Python

Alternatively, proficiency in embedded software development with C/C++
Excellent communication skills in English
Proactive approach to teamwork and knowledge sharing
An active student status for the entire duration of the traineeship

It would be nice if you also had:

Knowledge of SoC design flow and process or expertise in digital techniques and design
Curiosity and eagerness to learn, develop and contribute - ability to see challenges as opportunities
Tech-mind with a passion for SoC research and development
