Junior researchers in energy forecasting and distributed energy storage systems

- Master's degree in electrical engineering, physics, or a closely related field
- Research background and experience relevant to one or more of the following subject areas:
- Forecasting of demand, electricity price and wind farm energy production
- Energy storage systems for sector coupling in power systems
- Integration of electric transportation in the power system and markets, especially logistics and heavy transportation
- Good programming skills (e.g., GAMS, Julia, Python, and Matlab): particularly, experience in AI, machine learning, deep learning, and optimisation techniques in power and energy system studies
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary research team, conduct independent research, present research regularly at international conferences and workshops, and publish papers in leading academic journals in the research field
- High written and spoken proficiency in English
- Ability to support the preparation of funding applications
