Are you ready to jump onboard?Your role and responsibilitiesAs a Supplier Development Engineer your work will consist of:Managing new product introduction and leading proactive quality assurance activities for castings manufacturing and machiningAnalysing supplier performance and capabilities, identifying development opportunities and driving impactful development actionsDeveloping and executing supplier development action plans to improve supplier performanceSupporting suppliers with their operational development initiatives in relation to quality, delivery and costExecuting supplier audits and audit follow-up according to supplier development action plan and verifying impactYou'll be working as a part of impactful Supplier Development team and Category team with diverse expertise.Requirements for the position:Strong experience of iron and aluminium casting and machining technologies and manufacturing processesQuality management process understandingExcellent communication skillsStrong personal drive for identifying development potential and proven skills on leading improvement projects or initiatives successfully within crossfunctional teamsPerformance-focused mindset and capability to make an impact on increasing performance levelA systematic way of working and excellent problem-solving skillsCapability to apply lean principles and statistical process control in daily work for driving improvementQualifications/to be able to succeed in the position we expect you to have:M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Engineering or Economics and Business Administration, or qualified equivalentFluency in English, both verbal and writtenWillingness to travelExperience of Production Part Approval Process / Experience in quality management for example in manufacturing processesPrevious auditing experience or lead auditor qualification (e.g ISO 9001)Strong experience with Six sigma (Six Sigma green belt or equivalent)Contact & next steps:Please submit your application through our Careers portal.
