– Identify growth opportunities and bottlenecks across the full funnel (UA, activation, retention and revenue)
– Act as a strategic partner to leadership, not just a reporting function
– Own the company-wide data strategy and ensure direct linkage to growth and profitability targets
– Partner with product and marketing leadership to define and evolve KPIs across acquisition, retention and monetisation
– Translate data into clear, actionable recommendations that influence senior leadership decisions
– Collaborate closely with the Head of Finance to align data insights with financial planning, forecasting and unit economics optimisation
– Build a strong data culture focused on impact, accountability and continuous learning
– Lead and scale the data function, setting a high performance bar
– Oversee dashboards and reporting to enable fast, high-quality decision-making across teams
– Improve data quality, modelling and self-service capabilities across the organisation
– Own experimentation frameworks (A/B testing, incrementality, causal inference) and ensure they drive real impactREQUIREMENTS– Proven track record in a senior data role within mobile apps, gaming or SaaS
– Demonstrated success scaling Paid User Acquisition in the post-privacy era (e.g. SKAN, signal loss, MMM, incrementality)
– Strong understanding of growth systems: acquisition, activation, retention and monetisation
– Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels
– Strong business judgement and ability to influence senior stakeholders
– Experience translating complex analysis into clear, commercially relevant actions
– Experience building and scaling self-service data platforms or products that empower non-technical stakeholders
– AI driven and experience in implementing AI projects in data context
– Experience in Predictive modelling i.e. LTV predictions, payback windows for UA investments, churns, user behaviours etc.
– Experience in data engineering, building data pipelines and infrastructure
– Experience with modern data stack and data modelling (e.g. dbt or similar)
– Advanced SQL and solid Python skills
– Strong experience with BI tools
– Solid grounding in statistics and experimentation methodologies
– Experience with version control
– Excellent communication and leadership skillsNICE TO HAVE– Experience with BigQuery or similar cloud data warehouses
– Experience building or scaling high-performing data teams
– Background in subscription or free-to-play business models
