In this role, you will be responsible for designing, organising, leading, coordinating, and controlling all aspects of Electrical project delivery — ensuring quality, safety, and performance standards are consistently met. This position will be based on-site in Helsinki, Finland.Reports to: Project DirectorRequirements
- Take a leading role in driving productivity through effective weekly and daily work plans.
- Coordinate electrical design activities with internal teams and subcontractors.
- Supervise and monitor the progress of ongoing works, ensuring adherence to schedule and quality standards.
- Maintain high standards of Quality and Safety, ensuring all procedures are implemented and monitored effectively.
- Monitor and manage labour tracking sheets and resource allocation.
- Oversee and coordinate the full Electrical installation across the project.
- Engage with project stakeholders, including clients, to ensure clear communication and alignment on goals.
- Liaise with design teams and subcontractors to ensure project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Lead and mentor project teams, including supervisors and foremen.
- Work proactively with foremen to ensure people, materials, information, and equipment are in place to support safe and productive work.
- Coordinate activities with other subcontractors operating in shared work areas to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient progress.
- Review and sign off on project documentation and weekly foremen reports, ensuring all issues are tracked and closed out promptly.
- Lead weekly project meetings with key stakeholders, including foremen, Safety Advisor, QA Engineer, and BIM teams.
- Ensure meeting actions are recorded, assigned, and closed out before the next meeting.
- Maintain accurate minutes of meetings with clear action ownership.
- Incident/Accident reports
- Schedule updates (Planned vs. Actual)
- 4–6 week labour lookahead
- Industrial relations issues
- 2–4 week material procurement forecast (including long-lead items)
- Weekly variation log (issued to the Quantity Surveyor)
- Notification of any delays, disruptions, or risks to planned activities
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in managing large-scale Electrical projects such as commercial offices, retail, hotels, schools, or data centres.
- Data centre project experience is highly desirable.
- Engineering qualification preferred, with recent experience in managing major electrical contracts.
- Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, and teams in a dynamic project environment.
- Excellent planning, coordination, and reporting abilities.
