We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join a major industrial construction project in the Kymenlaakso region. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a technically demanding and high-profile development that will significantly impact the regionsinfrastructure and industry.In this project-based role, you will be responsible for both internal and external coordination, including collaboration with local authorities, project stakeholders, subcontractors, and technical teams across multiple disciplines. You will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of the project. The assignment is expected to last approximately two years, and the work will be carried out on-site in Kymenlaakso.Your responsibilities will include:– Coordinating project activities and schedules across various disciplines
– Facilitating communication between stakeholders, subcontractors, and technical teams
– Supporting the permitting and inspection processes with local authorities
– Monitoring project progress and reporting deviations
– Ensuring documentation is up to date and properly archived
– Participating in site meetings and preparing meeting minutes
– Supporting quality assurance and safety compliance
– Managing change requests and assisting in risk managementWhat we expect from you:– Relevant technical education (e.g. Mechanical Engineering), with a solid understanding of technical interfaces and systems coordination.
– Familiarity with construction management processes, government approval and inspection procedures, and subcontractor interface management
– Fluency in Finnish and English, both spoken and written
– Strong communication, organizational, and coordination skills
