Job Description:Your roleWe are looking for a Sourcing Manager to join our Direct Procurement Fermion Chemicals category. You will have a unique opportunity to work in an interesting sourcing category and ensure that the supplier portfolio, product offering and capabilities meet future requirements while contributing to Orion's strategy and business targets.In this role, your location can be Espoo or Turku. The working model is hybrid. The position is permanent and full-time.Your responsibilitiesIn your specified area of responsibility, you will manage the selected supplier base and projects within the Fermion chemicals category. As a sourcing manager, you drive RFQ and supplier selection process and negotiate pricing, business models and sourcing agreements. You manage supplier and risk management activities in your area, and you may have also some outsourcing support responsibilities.Driving improvements and actively managing the product and material lifecycle together with other key stakeholders and experts to ensure the most optimal set-up for business needs is an essential part of your job. You are capable of working across organizational boundaries with experts from various fields and functions to ensure the best expertise is utilized to achieve desired outcome. You have an eye for the detail, while also understanding the big picture. You are able to challenge the status quo when needed. Alternatively, you may be currently finishing or have recently completed your M.Sc. degree in Business (e.g. SCM, Logistics, Industrial Economics) or in other suitable field.A positive can-do attitude with excellent cooperation and networking skills is essential for success in this role. You are a curious, goal driven and motivated self-starter with a natural ability to take ownership of tasks and see them through completion. You have a growth mindset and ability to develop and lead processes in your sourcing area in close cooperation with suppliers and internal stakeholders.The concepts of SRM and category management are familiar to you, and you have gained experience in supplier and commercial agreement negotiations as well as pricing and business model negotiations. You communicate and negotiate fluently in English and Finnish; other language skills are seen as benefit.Additional requirements:

Strategic sourcing mindset and basic understanding of the sourcing principles
Excellent project management skills and experience
SAP knowledge and category-specific knowledge are considered as an asset
Willingness to travel approximately 15-20 days per year

We are also responsible for the industrialization of new products and product life cycle management.In Global Operations we have approximately 1,600 professionals working in Production, our external supplier network (Externally Sourced Operations) and Fermion Oy (API manufacturing and marketing). In addition, the organization includes Supply Chain & Procurement, Technical Operations, Facility Management, EHS (Environment, Health and Safety), CPD&LCM (Commercial Product Development & Product lifecycle management) and Operations Development.Direct Procurement is a part of Procurement and Supply Chain in Orion Global Operations.
